Eco friendly cleaning products
We only use cleaning products provided by SMOL, less chemicals, less plastic, less carbon. Cloths all washable and eventually compostable.

Community
Alongside our food larders, we also support local non-profit and community groups to collect and distribute surplus food for people in food need. And we upcycle furniture to donate to people in housing need.
Empowering people to volunteer to be part of the social good movement.

Lighting
We are reducing energy consumption using low energy light bulbs, timers in communal spaces and reducing fossil fuels for heating.

Local Suppliers
We prioritise and collaborate with local suppliers reducing transport and supporting our local business community. Utilising local networks, we facilitate the use of regional resources .

Growing food
Through our regenerative horticultural projects people partake in meaningful activities growing food to support community larders for people in food poverty and or need.

Food waste
We collect food waste at every site, creating compost to support horticultural projects.

Thoughtful purchasing
We only purchase what is necessary, reusing, repurposing and buying reconditioned and second hand where possible. Therefor, limiting landfill burden.

Water
We limit the amount of water we use – water saving devices and using grey water where we can.

Electricity
By the middle of 2027 we will only buy electricity that is from a certified sustainable source.
