The name CHAOS is an acronym for Community Helping All of Society.
It also reflects our principles and values of “the butterfly effect of the CHAOS Theory”, which implies that a small event has the potential to majorly influence events in the future. Demonstrated by the famous saying that “the flap of a butterfly’s wings in the Amazon can cause a tornado in Texas.”
CHAOS works with some of the most marginalised, vulnerable and disadvantaged members of our local Community. We provide them with opportunities and experiences, to learn, gain new skills and knowledge, in order to empower them to make their own positive actions.
Our expert knowledge spans across six partners, a collection of like-minded and community-focused social enterprises. Covering a range of industries:
A health and beauty salon
Community radio station
Creative digital media services
A supportive and caring work-based horticultural provision
Domiciliary care service
Hospital discharge Taskforce
Care and Recuperation Home
Our partners are proud to be part of the CHAOS Family Group, collaborating and working hard to support individuals and families in the community.
Formally Cafe CHAOS (which has now closed) we work with food suppliers, the hospitality industry and retailers to ensure nothing goes to waste, by sharing unwanted food across the community.
Located on the beautiful Roseland Peninsular, our family owned working farm is a safe place to explore, learn new skills and make friends. We’re a registered Care Farm too!
Where it all began. Our domiciliary care agency provides a variety of support services to all ages, across Mid Cornwall. We’re CQC registered with more than 20 years experience.
At our very own Hair and Beauty salon in Truro, the team work hard to deliver treatments and services that promote physical and emotional wellbeing, catering to a wide range of clients.
