Adult and Children’s Support Worker

Location: Across Mid Cornwall


Stayathome Cornwall (part of The CHAOS Group) offer a variety of care packages, ranging from short visits through to longer stays and accompanying clients on day-to-day, recreational and social pursuits. The Support Worker will support clients with limiting illness, learning disabilities, challenging behaviours, health and social needs. All clinical training for our more complex clients will be provided by our clinical lead.

You will be responsible for looking after client’s physical, emotional and social needs, ensuring their safety and enabling them to remain in their home. Our Support Workers empower our clients, providing a gateway to independence, as well an active and engaged role in the local community.

Eligibility and Experience

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent in Childcare is essential.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable.
  • Full, clean driving licence and own transport
  • Previous experience in a working with children and young people is desirable, though not essential, as full training and support are provided throughout.
